History

Established in February 2016 by a group of alumni students from College Roger Anglade. The Association des Anciens Camarades pour le Renouveau d’Haiti (ASACRHA) is a non-profit organization which main objective is to bring together former students of College Roger Anglade while creating a bridge between its alumni and the Haitian community. In November 2016, we donated a chemistry/physics laboratory to our former school whose students did not have access to one as the old laboratory was not operational since the terrible earthquake of 2010.

In order to broaden the scope of our mission/vision, in February 2017, we decided to change the name of the association from the Association des Anciens du College Roger Anglade (ASACRA) to the Association des Anciens Camarades pour le Renouveau d’Haiti (ASACRHA).

Our Vision

The Association des Anciens Camarades pour le Renouveau d’Haiti (ASACRAH) seeks to primarily empower the Haitian youth through education by providing a forum where they can learn to thrive in a positive environment.

Our Mission

To assist Haitian students by providing them with positive skill building sessions and encourage them to also be agent of change within their own communities. In addition, our goal is to help Haitian orphans, the sick and less fortunate. To create scholarship programs for higher education and provide grants for any other projects that the Committee deems are consistent with the purposes of the Association. This will solidify our Haitian youth which in turn will enhance our redeveloping efforts in Haiti.
